3DFIXSOLUTIONS / PROJECT GUIDE
Prepare your project
A clear enquiry helps us prepare an accurate quote and avoid unnecessary revisions.
Describe the problem
Explain what the part needs to do, what is not working and how it will be used. Tell us whether you need a prototype, replacement part or small production run.
Dimensions and fit
Provide dimensions in millimetres. Identify critical dimensions and mating parts, and describe any available sketches, drawings or CAD files.
Material and environment
Describe loads, temperature, moisture and outdoor exposure. Give a material preference or ask for advice. Disclose food contact, medical or other safety-critical uses before commissioning.
Quantity, timing and budget
State the number of items, your target date and an optional budget range. A target date becomes a commitment only when agreed in the quote.
One print order, a defined scope
A print order may include multiple items. Quantity, material, print time, design work and pricing are agreed separately. A subscription pays only for planning priority; the 1, 5 or 10 print-order limits are not free prints.
From enquiry to production
Start with feasibility and a quotation. Agree dimensions, revisions and the design version before committing to production. Do not send passwords or confidential download links in an initial enquiry; describe the files available.
